This course is designed to prepare industry professionals for the ISA Certified Arborist exam or as a review if for those already certified. It will cover all 16 chapters in the Arborists’ Certification Study Guide.
Instructors are local professionals in the field of arboriculture and urban forestry.
Anyone is eligible to take this course. You don't have to take the exam or be eligible to take it to take the course.
You must qualify and register with ISA to take the exam (see eligibility requirements for the exam below).

Week 4: Installation and Establishment, Tree Nutrition and Fertilizer

Week 7: Tree Assessment and Risk Management, Trees and Construction
Week 8: Tree Worker Safety, Climbing and Working in Trees
Week 9: EXAM
ISA’s Arborists’ Certification Study Guide is the program material covered in this course. Students are responsible for ordering their own copy through the ISA. Discounts are available for ISA members.
